Happy Easter 2013!!

What a wonderful day we had to finish off a wonderful week! This was our spring break week and we took full advantage! We started by having the boys do some artwork (see previous post)! Then we colored Easter eggs, played at the park, made Easter cookies, went to an egg hunt in the park with some friends, went to the park again and then topped it off with Easter Sunday at church and then Grandma and Bompa's! The boys hunted eggs and had a big time! They also fell asleep pretty fast!

Easter Eggs!

I found this neat idea on Pinterest (love pinterest) to use Kool-Aid to color eggs for Easter! I thought we would give it a try and it worked! The boys had fun and they turned out pretty nice!

After that we got the 4-wheeler out to test ride in the backyard! Hudsen got this for his 2nd birthday from Brian and Erin and is just now understanding how cool it is!!!

The Park Day 1:

There is a little park not far from our house that I love to take the boys to! It has a fence all the way around and two play areas for them to play on! Nolen has figured out how cool the slides are and that's all he wants to do! They have so much fun!

Easter Cookies!

Both boys helped make cookies this time! They helped mix and then cut out! Nolen was sleeping when I iced the cookies but Hudsen got to decorate an egg! It was lots of fun!

Egg Hunt in the Park!

We got invited to an Easter egg hunt in the park with some friends and the boys had so much fun! They played, hunted eggs, played some more, had lunch and played some more! We went to Grandma and Bompa's afterwards and they colored eggs with them! It was a fun day!

The Park Day 2:

There is a bigger park that was just completed not far from our house but I have to have Tim with me if the boys are gonna play there! We went Friday night after supper and took the 4-wheeler because they have a huge grass area for the boys to ride on! They had so much fun!

Easter Sunday!

Today was a wonderful day! We went to church and the boys did GREAT! It was a long mass today and we got there early to be able to get a seat and they were so good until right before we left! They had enough and were hungry! We then went to Grandma and Bompa's and had lunch, hunted eggs, the boys played and had a great time!
