8 Years to Celebrate

Tim and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on the 17th of this month.  Our wedding day was such a wonderful and fun day!  In front of our family and close friends I married my best friend!  I am so glad that JC Penney's sent Tim's family to Plainview all those years ago.  Thank you Tim for eight years and two beautiful kids.  Here's to many, many more my love!!

Since our anniversary fell on a Tuesday, we celebrated twice!!!  The Sunday before we went to see the new Spiderman movie and ate Fatburger with the kids.  Tim got home really late from work on our actual anniversary so yesterday we went to eat at Outback with King and Ellen and then stopped at the park to let the boys play on our way home!

Here's a few pictures from our special day and then from our two outings to celebrate and then just a few of our sweet boys!

4th of July 2012

4th of July 2012
What a wonderful day we had celebrating America!!!  The weather could not have been better.  It rained from about noon-5pm but that did not keep us from swimming!!!  At 5pm it stopped and was a perfect 75 degrees for supper and fireworks!  We spent the morning getting our dishes ready to take to Beth and G's.  I was in charge of hot dog buns, watermelon and the boys and I made a flag cake!  I got really festive and cut the watermelon into star shapes!!  We had hamburgers, hot dogs and brats with potato salad, watermelon and corn on the cob!!  Another wonderful cookout!  After eating and swimming, we set off some of our own fireworks and then headed to our spot for the firework show.  The Station Casinos out here have a firework show and we are closest to Red Rock Station Casino so we watch theirs.  There is an open lot across the street from them and that is where we have gone the past two years!  This year both boys were awake and stayed outside to watch the fireworks!  They loved them and it was another wonderful firework show!!!
