Doctor

Hudsen saw the doctor yesterday and I want to just give everyone an update. He is 26 inches and weighs 17 pounds. He is in the 90th percentile for head, weight and height. He is perfect and very healthy. He got 5 shots and was not very happy for about 15 minutes but then fell asleep and was fine. He was given the okay for cereal as many as three times a day but not to exceed 1/2 cup a day. We go back June 29th and then will be able to start baby food. I can't believe that he is almost 5 mos. He is growing so fast and we continue to enjoy each phase of his life.

We are so looking forward to spending some time with y'all!! See you this saturday!! We love y'all and please pray for us to have a safe trip! Yes, for those of you who don't know, we are driving because Tim does not want to fly. I will let everyone know how that works out!

Just Us

We never take pictures of just us anymore. Our camera is always pointed at Hudsen. So, when Elizabeth took this one at her engagement party I wanted to post it for everyone. I understand why we only take pictures of Hudsen and it's because he is so darn cute. It is nice to now have a good picture of just us as mommy and daddy.

This morning after I got Hudsen dressed for the day, he got the hiccups. I started immitating him and he thought that was sooo funny. I was able to capture it on video (amazing because he usually stops when you get the camcorder out) and wanted to share it with you. There is nothing that compares to the laugh of a little one. Enjoy, I know I did!

Happy Weekend!

HAPPY EASTER!! We had such a fun weekend. The weather was so nice. I will start by talking about Sunday. We spent the day at Hudsen's Grandma and Grandpa, Ellen and King's, house. We had ham, potato salad, three bean salad, fruit salad, sweet potatoes, bread and a good bunny cake. We then played and watched The Masters. Hudsen got to spend some time with his Aunt Elizabeth before she went back to Arizona. The Easter Bunny came to visit Hudsen from Henderson, NV and Plainview, TX and left some really nice gifts. He looked so cute. It was so much fun to get him all dressed up. Here are some pictures from the day. We missed my family but are really excited to see them in a few weeks.






Saturday:
On Saturday Elizabeth and Gerard had an engagement party. It was fun to once again get Hudsen all dressed up. We had a really fun time. Congratulations Elizabeth and Gerard.

Yesterday:
The weather was so nice when I got home from work so Hudsen and I decided to go hang out with Daddy while he was grilling chicken for supper. We put Hudsen in the grass for the first time and he loved it. He loves to be outside.







I had to post these last two because he is so cute. The first one he is wearing his Converse shoes that Amy and Leon got him for Christmas. The second one will get you ready for spring/summer with his fun overalls!


Happy 4 month birthday Hudsen! We love you so much!!

Opening Day!!!

BASEBALL SEASON IS HERE!!!!!!
For those of you who know us, you understand. For those of you who don't, we LOVE BASEBALL!! This is a big day for us!! I think Tim has watched baseball all day and I did when I got home from work!! We were very sad that Boston got rained out. Hudsen was going to wear his Red Sox shirt from Jose and Lara but we are waiting until they play! Don't worry he still wore a baseball outfit. Here are a few pictures from the BIG day!!

As promised, here are pictures of Hudsen rolling over. We took a video of it and I will post that later. We are so proud of him. Since I have started this post he has rolled over twice!! He is so smart!

Growing up!

It is amazing how fast our little Hudsen is growing. He is almost 4 months old and weighs close to 17 pounds. It is so fun to watch him discover things. Everything is so exciting to him and us. It's funny how excited you get about a burp or a dirty diaper. He is now playing with toys and last night he rolled over for the first time. Everyone says that it's all over when they start rolling over. I took pictures and will post them later, but we are so excited.

Just a rundown of what is going on with me and Tim. I am working for an orthodontic program at a university in Henderson, NV. We have an MBA program that Tim will attend, for a big discount, in August. We will be visiting my family in May and both of Tim's siblings are getting married. Tim's brother is getting married in October in Mexico and his sister is getting married next April here in Las Vegas. We are so excited about adding new family members and can't wait for them to have some cousins for Hudsen. My neice, Mollie, is getting married this year too. They just haven't sat a date but we are so excited for her as well. She will also graduate in December.
