6 MONTHS

HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY HUDSEN!!!

I can't believe Hudsen is 6 months old. He is growing so fast. We tried some new things this weekend and here are a few pictures to show you the fun that we had.



We started with a cookie. Yes it is one of those yucky, gooey, gets everywhere cookie that I said I would never give to my child because they gross me out but.....



when you get that reaction, how can you not give him one. He loved it. I think partly because he was able to hold it himself and the other part because it felt good on his gums. So our lesson here is.......never say never!!!



We then tried bananas and.....

well, the face says it all. He really liked the bananas. We tried applesauce tonight and that was a winner as well.



Next came apple juice. More like a lot of water and a splash of apple juice. I love the faces he would make after the first drink. I didn't have the camera handy but he would pucker up and shake his head and then go back for more. It's the cutest thing!


He can now go just about anywhere in his walker and he will get into anything. He is very curious and so much fun to watch.



The circle change. He did this on his own!!! So smart and yes his daddy was very proud!!
He loves baseball!!



He has become a really big fan of the singing crab. He can hit the top and the crab will sing and move around.



We are so close to crawling. He has been up on all fours a few times but still hasn't put it all together. He just scoots but he is ohhhh sooo close!!

Well, he has my eyes and chin but that is just about it.

Weddings!

Awwwww........ weddings!! Doesn't everyone love weddings?! From now to the end of next April we will have 5 weddings to attend. We went to our first one this past weekend and I wanted to share some pictures from that night. It was a lovely ceremony and we are so happy for Brandon and Cathy!

The first two for Tim are always fun ones! You never know what face you are going to get!

Now this is a good one! I love you Tim!!

We missed Hudsen but he was asleep by the time the reception started. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for staying with H.

Look At Me!!

I can't believe it is June!!! Hudsen will be 6 mos in a couple of weeks and I can't believe how fast the time has gone. He is doing so many new things and we are enjoying every bit of it!! We truly are blessed and we thank God everyday!! Please enjoy the latest pictures and there is a video at the end of Hudsen playing outside (his favorite place to be). Tim was trying out our video on our camera while I was using our camcorder. ENJOY!!!

Big Boy Chair

So we got our high chair yesterday and I had to post these pictures for everyone. This was our gift from Brian, Tim's brother. I can't believe Hudsen is big enough to sit in a high chair but he loves it. From the pictures you can see he loves his cereal too. Thank you Brian, we love you and hope to see you soon!!!

I had to capture this. He concentrates so hard when he is going to the bathroom. It makes us laugh and is so cute.

Rolling

Hudsen is now rolling from back to tummy and tummy to back. This started a few days ago and we love to watch him go. When he wants to get somewhere he just rolls and rolls until he gets there. No crawling.....yet. He is pushing up with his arms and getting his butt in the air but hasn't put it all together.

While in Plainview my little sister, Kiley, got out, my nephew, Ashton's walker to see if Hudsen would like it. He LOVED it. He has only been able to get around on the tile. Last night I put him in the walker in the kitchen on the tile and started doing kitchen stuff. I turned around and Hudsen was in the living room walking to Tim...ON THE CARPET!!! He then walked all over the living room laughing and talking. He was so proud of himself as were we.

Trip

Okay, so I wanted to update everyone on our recent trip to Plainview! It was so much fun! We drove and Hudsen did such a good job. He did get tired of his seat and we definitely plan to fly from now on, but it was not as bad as I was thinking it was going to be. We got there on Saturday the 2nd and were welcomed by my mom's family. It was so good to see them. We are all so grown up and have kids of our own and Hudsen got to meet some of his 2nd and 3rd cousins. It was great. The next day was the first Sunday of the month and my Grandad (dad's dad) always has everyone over for supper. We got to hang out with the Lane bunch and Hudsen got to see his Great Grandad again. The week was filled with fun things. We shopped, got our first family pictures taken, ate A LOT, and just hung out!! Wednesday we had supper at mom's with my high school basketball coach, his wife and their little girl that is a month younger than Hudsen. We had such a good time playing with the babies. Hudsen is definately a boy, he is so big! We were also able to go to my nephew's end of school program. He was a speckled frog! His outfit was adorable, my sister and brother-in-law did a great job. He is growing up so fast! It was sooo sad to come back knowing it will be a few months before we get to go back but we had so much fun! We can't wait to go back.


We got home on Mother's Day and my in-laws had been very busy while we were gone. Tim got tile for his birthday and we have been waiting to put it down. So, while we were gone we asked King and Ellen to watch our house and cats. They did more than that, they put down tile in Hudsen's bathroom and our laundry room. It looks wonderful. Thank you King and Ellen! Now all we have left is our bathroom!!!
