Potty training, Christmas cards, Our Elf returns and more!

So, this is how December starts.........CRAZY!!!!!

Tim and I have been ready to stop diapers, and Nolen probably too, but I so dreaded potty training!!  Well, to my surprise, it hasn't been all that bad.  We have had accidents but we have been going on two weeks and I would say we are pretty much there!  The past couple of days, he has learned the "need to go" feeling and has been accident free!!  He has even learned that pooping in the potty is pretty cool!!  Yay to Nolen and Yay to no more diapers (except at night for a while)!

Both of my boys LOVE stickers so the sticker board worked for both of them!!  He got a sticker every time he went on the potty and he got to put it on the board!  He is very proud!

Everybody gets a prize for Nolen learning to potty!!  It's a team effort folks!!

He was super excited about his dragon car!  For 10 stickers on the board, he got a new hot wheel!  For being accident free one day he got a new hot wheel and for being accident free and 20 stickers.....yes, a new car!!  Three new cars is totally worth not buying diapers every month!!!

The boys get new Christmas pj's from Grandma and Bompa every year on Thanksgiving and that is what they wear for our Christmas card picture!  I saw a cute picture on pinterest with the kids on a bed reading a Christmas book!  That didn't work out but we sure got a cute one in front of the tree!!
This would've worked but Hudsen is smiling so big his eyes are only partially opened!

My big boy!!

Christmas Card 2013!  Merry Christmas from The Watts Family!

Our elf, Tibby, found our house again this year!!  The boys were so excited to get their package, open it and find out Tibby was back!

The fun Tibby has been having!
Making an elf sized s'more!

Fishing!

Enjoying a sugar cookie!

Putting a puzzle together!

Elves drink green milk!

Just a swinging!

Coloring a picture of an elf!

Reading a Christmas book to some of his friends!

This morning he let the boys know he wanted them to decorate the felt tree!

So they did!

Just some extras!!!
Hudsen got sick and missed a couple of days of school!  He was still able to smile!

They love coloring and especially by the tree!

They got special books from Grandma and Bompa!  Hallmark books and Grandma and Bompa recorded the book, so they can read the boys a book anytime and anywhere!

I have seen this and have wanted to do this but just really didn't want to go shopping for just a canvas!  While cleaning out a closet this morning, I found this red one and quickly made my "Mistletoes" sign!!!  The boys had fun and I LOVE it!!!

Next up: Hudsen's birthday, visiting Santa and Hudsen's party, in that order!!!  Still can't believe he will be 5!!!

Happy Thanksgiving 2013

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day!  We got to spend the day with Tim's family and eat some pretty great food!  Then at 6pm Ellen, Elizabeth and I headed to wal-mart!  Thank you ladies for going with me for support!  I got a lot accomplished and saved some money!!!  I have so much to be thankful for and yesterday was a great day to celebrate!  We watched some football and had a great day!

Our family!  Nolen had just woken up but I wanted to get a picture out of the way because Tim is not a fan!!!  I LOVE my family and am so thankful for them!

Wednesday night and the boys were helping me make the cranberry salad!!  They were some great help!

Happy Thanksgiving from Hudsen and Nolen!  I am so very thankful for these two handsome boys!  I love them both so so much!

I also tried to get a good picture in front of the tree for Christmas cards just in case my idea doesn't work!!

The turkey!

The table!  Ellen did a great job!

King carving the big turkey!

Ellen dishing out some mac-n-cheese for the boys!

Ellen's veggie turkey!

Happy Happy Thanksgiving!  What a great day!  I am now cooking our turkey and sides for tonight so we can have leftovers!!!  Leftovers are almost as good as the big meal!  And I made a pecan pie for the first time!  I hope it is as good as it looks!

Let the Christmas season begin!!!!  I love this time of year!!!
But first, Hudsen has to have his 5th birthday!  Holy moly he is going to be 5!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Thanksgiving Month!

Last year we made a Thankful Tree and this year we made Thankful Turkey's!  We will put our last turkey hand up tonight!!!  Friday we will have to make "Mistletoes" to hang in this spot!

Nolen didn't want in the picture so it is just Hudsen!  They both have had fun with these!

Thinking they wanted to take a nap on the couch together!

Having lunch!!  I am so thankful for these two boys!

Boxes turned Star Wars ships were a hit!!!

Tim had to go to New York for 4 days, so we stayed with King and Ellen!  The boys loved all their Bompa and Grandma time!

And I got to work on Hudsen's birthday invitations and party favors!

We celebrated Elizabeth's birthday this month and Ellen got us these crafts to make for her party!  We had so much fun making them!

Her birthday cake!

Happy Birthday Aunt Beth!

The boys put up their trees and they LOVE them!!

I pinned this last year and forgot about it.  I remembered this year and Ellen made them for the boys.  They love them!  Another picture that Nolen did not want to take part in but he did play with them and still does!

Hudsen's invitation and party favors!  It's a snowman themed party!!!

Hudsen's Thanksgiving party at school.  They did the cutest little program for us!!!

Me and my boys!  Hudsen was a pilgrim for the play and did a fabulous job!  Tim had to work, so I videoed the play for him!  He loved it!

Grandma and Bompa with Hudsen!

All the kids, from every class, put on a program for all of us and it was the cutest thing!  I videoed it because Tim couldn't be there and will try to upload tomorrow!  They did a little play on the first thanksgiving and then same some fun turkey songs and a count your blessings song.  After the singing, they said a prayer and then headed to the classroom for a Thanksgiving feast!!  Hudsen is not a fan of any Thanksgiving dish and I so look forward to the day that he is because it's the best!!  Nolen will usually try anything and hopefully he will like a lot of the dishes tomorrow!!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We have so very much to be thankful for!

Happy Happy Thanksgiving!  Be safe and eat A LOT!!!
